Day 142i: Pondering the Peace of our plodding Pulse … (September 18, 2019)
“I ponder the rhythms of letting go; the steady syncopations of fully embracing whatever is around the corner. I have a steady faith that the empty spaces will all be filled, and know – nay, expect – that community will continue to blossom in the gaps where mystery resides … And I member as I walk that no time is better spent than that spent in the service of our fellow man … From day to day we keep our log, our day-book of the Soul, and think at first that it is a mere record of travel – of facts witnessed and others encountered. And yet something else is ever entered into it; poetry, the poetry of our lives. And the same is ever evident to any seeing eye that we are gradually becoming artists in life, that we are learning the gentle art of flowing into purpose and dancing into meaning; that we have chosen to make our living about sacrificing the same, and thereby are lending an artist’s joy to the constant re-creation of a journey well-walked and a life well-lived.” ~ inspired by Joyce Hollyday, Bryan McGill & Stephen Graham
