Day 069u: Sustained by a banal-shrouded Beauty … (June 22, 2019)
While I was in truth more than slightly disappointed in the compassion-less way that Jean Marc described the reasoning behind making his hostel a fully plant-based stop-over (somewhat callously stating that he could care less how anyone chose to treat animals; that his hostel was “vegan” solely to allow every pilgrim who arrived there to come together “in community” while partaking of the exact same sustenance), the multi-course meal was truly an outstanding one nonetheless (with the brilliance of the food far outshining the relative lusterlessness of the accompanying conversation), and I went to bed shortly thereafter already fully Ready to continue on The Way …
