Day 061b: When the day suddenly Darkens … (06/14/2019)

My mood was soon darkened more than a bit by this particular visage: a small gathering of understandably upset mother cows who had been separated from their babies by their “owner” — a standard practice in the dairy industry, even on “local” “humane” “grass fed” “organic” farms like this one … πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™

“I can’t force anybody to be vegan, so it is confusing when I hear people say ‘stop forcing your views on me.’ Truly, unless you’ve gone vegan, I can’t have haven’t forced you to do anything. In fact, people who go vegan make that choice because it makes moral sense to them, not because I or anyone else forced them. In truth, dairy farmers are the ones who are confining innocent beings in fields or cages, and then impregnating them against their will, and then stealing their babies after they are born, and then selling their mothers’ milk to humans, and then slitting their the mothers’ throats when their udders dry up from overuse … and there isn’t much out there more forceful than that.” ~ inspired be Vegan Sidekick
