Day 60j: Linked to the Landscape … (06/13/2019)
“After one has walked any long distance and then reaches a turn in the path that discloses an unanticipated view, there is always a vibration of the senses — a vibration that is seen in the landscape, and a vibration that is then felt in the walker’s body. The harmonic interconnection of the two frequencies, like two strings perfectly in tune — each feeding off the vibration of the other, becomes an endless relaunch — an endless reawakening — and endless reunion — and thus an endless rebirth. The walker’s mobility ladled over the immobility of the landscape provides the intensity of co-presence; an intensity that repeatedly renews and gives birth to a comingling of being. The walker has always been here today, and the walker will ever be here tomorrow. The walker is clearly contemplating the landscape, and the walker has become a facet thereof.” ~ inspired by Frédéric Gros
