“I have walked that long road to freedom, and while I have tried not to falter, I have indeed made missteps along the way. And yet during this walking I have discovered a great secret — that after climbing any great hill, one always discovers that there are many more hills on the horizon; always many more mountains to climb. Yes, I have often taken a moment here & there to rest, or to steal a glimpse of the glorious vista that surrounded me, or to look back upon the distance I have come.
