Day 35g: On dying to Life … (05/19/2019)
I am still more than a bit concerned about the imminent future of my Walk as I limp out of Yennes and up towards and then into the outskirts of the tiny village of Verrieres, coming upon a beautiful little chapel (appropriately named Notre Dame de Paix — or “Our Lady of Peace”) as I do so … It was here that I paused and openly resolved (through admitted waves of passionate tears) that I would never ever abandon my Quest; that — no matter how cold the weather might get or how frigidly others might treat me along the Way — I would keep walking, until I either completed the Journey … or died trying.
