Fittingly, almost immediately after choosing to let go of all concerns related to my probable lack of future comfort &/or companionship, I rounded the next bend in The Road, was spotted by Christine through her kitchen window, was cordially waved over into her garden, was asked congenially about my Mission, and was then showered with sympathy & sustenance — with her children even scampering throughout her home to see who could find the most creative vegan foodstuffs (including freshly popped popcorn!) to offer for my Journey, and her son Adrian even chasing me down (uphill, no less) long after my departure to bring me a spoon to use with the homemade jam her husband had so graciously supplied … 😀 😀 😀
