Day 35f: To BE a true Pilgrim … (05/19/2019)
To be a pilgrim is to boldly walk ever alone, and yet to BE a Pilgrim is to flow Care-fully amongst the many … To be a pilgrim is to care for one’s self with utter abandon, and yet to BE a Pilgrim is to recklessly Give of that Self to others … To be a pilgrim is to love whenever loved and care whenever cared for, and yet to BE a Pilgrim is to Love while being dismissed and care whenever ignored or rejected.
“Tell me how many beads there are
in a single silver chain of evening rain,
fully unraveled from the tumbling main,
smoothly threading the eye of our yellow star.
Tell me how many of these tumbling pearls there are …
So many times will I ever Love again.”
