Day 33c: Remembering the WHY … (05/17/2019)
One of the tendencies common to many of the world’s pilgrims — especially those choosing to walk paths that offer longer stretches of solitude — was the act of self-accompaniment; often coming in the form of singing or humming or speaking with one’s self, and yet also sometimes manifesting in the form of the recitation of meaningful mantras. Yes, it is true that I sometimes sang and sometimes hummed and sometimes spoke with myself while marching along The Way, and yet more often than not I accompanied my Journey with various incantations intended to remind me of the importance of the task at hand. And today the mantra in question took the form of the underlying WHY of my Mission; a WHY that was remembered aloud with each passing step …
“for Peace … for LOVE … for Peace … for LOVE … for Peace … for LOVE … for Peace” 🙂
“I have ever been and will ever remain a Seeker, and yet I have ceased to question stars and consult books in that seeking. Instead, I now choose to listen & then adhere to the wisdoms my Soul has been steadily whispering all along.” ~ inspired by Hermann Hesse
