Day 33d: Reminding them who they Are … (05/17/2019)

Up and into the village of Celigny and stop for some water at a nice little local restaurant ( l’Enclave ) and a wonderful couple — Pascalle & Gilles — overhear my mention of The Walk and call me over to their table; where they treat me to a miraculously delicious vegan Thai meal and chat with me amicably for a few hours about matters of great meaning and importance (including the objective notion that selfless Kindness is always available, and actually never more potent than when given to those “least deserving” &/or when feeling “least able” to offer the same) … πŸ™‚

Big HUGS are shared all around upon the completion of our lovely repast, and I flow-hobble onward through the now barely-perceptible, more-smelt-than-felt rain … πŸ˜€

β€œIf you treat an individual as he is, he will remain how he is. And yet if you steadily & gently treat another as if she already were what she very well could be, then she will indeed rediscover – and inevitably choose to re-embody – the greater person she could very well remember.” ~ via Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
