Day 29j: Hanging out in Happiness … (05/13/2019)
This was actually an unusually special day, for the simple reason that it was the only day during the entirety of my walk across Europe that I knew before setting out that I had a bed to sleep on that same night.
You see, back in Lucens a few days previous — when I was hanging out with Vanda & Laurent & Fabio in their lovely home, I had been blessed to meet and deeply connect with Vanda’s brother David and his girlfriend Clara. We talked long into the night that evening about my Walk and about radical Kindness and about each of us being able to literally change the world for the better with our bold acts of selfless service for others, and David had especially resonated with my Message — so much so that he spontaneously invited me to stay in his apartment when I made it to Lausanne a few days hence ( :O ) … Well today was that very day, and I flowed smoothly that afternoon to his apartment — waiting in a small corner park until he got home from work, and then reveling in him & Clara treating me like royalty for the entirety of my stay; a stay that was much more than amazing, and a stay that was much too short for my liking … 😀
