Day 24c: It only takes one to make ONE … (05/08/2019)
I wasn’t in the church long before Jacqueline, and extremely kind employee of the Murten Catholic Diocese, proceeded to take it upon herself to provide for my health and well-being — finding me both delicious food to fill my empty stomach* and a cozy place to rest my weary legs** … :O 😀

*It just so happened that the church’s staff-chef had unusually cooked a vegan broccoli-curry that same day (What a lovely coincidence!), and had graciously told Jacqueline to offer me a large portion thereof after hearing of my Walk … 🙂
**Jacqueline had also originally offered to pay for a train ticket to get me to the neighboring town of Avenches (where more help might be available), but had then — after learning that I possessed no personal ID and that it was necessary for me to walk the entire way Home — effectuated the aforementioned assistance in Murten for me instead.
