Page 737 … aligning with the Father

You then go on to state that, “What you plead must align itself with the will of the Father”, and once again I wholeheartedly agree – except for your equating the meaning of the Hebrew word Shophat (which is actually Mishphat in the Scriptures, I’m pretty sure – see Strong’s #4941) with mere “pleading”.  This is wholly inaccurate, as that term actually meaning “justice” or “judicially determining”.   Of course, it is also important for you to at some point realize that Jesus & I have a very different vision of what the Will of the Father is … You & yours believe that to fulfill the Will of God we must adhere to all the laws of the Old Testament, both as they were originally written and as they were initially (and quite conservatively) applied … The problem with this approach to the Old Testament is twofold:

Problem 01)  In many cases it is patently immoral to do so (see Leviticus 24:16 – demanding the death penalty for blasphemy, Leviticus 20:10-12 – demanding the death penalty for adultery, Deuteronomy 22:20-12 – demanding the death penalty for girls lying about their virginity, Leviticus 20:13 – demanding the death penalty for homosexual sex, Exodus 22:20 – demanding the death penalty for worshipping idols, Exodus 31:14 – demanding the death penalty for working on the Sabbath, Exodus 22:18 – demanding the death penalty for practicing magic, Deuteronomy 13:1-11 + 18:20 – demanding the death penalty for trying to convert anyone to another religion other than Judaism, Exodus 21:17 – demanding the death penalty for cursing your parents, Deuteronomy 19:15-21 – demanding the death penalty for bearing false witness, Leviticus 20:18 – demanding the death penalty for having sex with a woman who is menstruating, etc etc etc) … and,

Problem 02)  In many cases those original Old Testament regulations directly contradict the augmentations & the amendments that Jesus himself came to share and enliven thereafter.  Again, my Friend, please refer to the massive proofs of this Truth that I have already given you many times in this thread (most recently on pages 709-713 herein – where I show how Jesus dramatically expanded Old Testament laws at least 62 times, radically limited Old Testament laws at least 39 times and effectively eliminated Old Testament laws at least 38 times in the Gospel of Matthew alone!) and thereby come to understand both a deeper meaning of the Scriptures and the more Loving call of Jesus Christ …
