AGBS week #7: Jesus and the “The Law” (04/28/10)
Class #7 began by answering some questions related to Week 6 materials & concepts (including Jesus as a historical figure, Jesus’ use of sheep & goats in his parables, the role of Jesus’ resurrection in the Christian religion, the power of selfless deeds, and an analysis of Jesus’ “the meek shall inherit the earth”). Thereafter, the majority of the evening looked deeply into comparing and contrasting the laws found in the Hebrew Bible (a.k.a. the Old Testament) with the teachings of Jesus Christ.
