2009 … Hanging out with Duncan
Near the end of that same trip, I enjoyed a brief visit with Duncan & my folks to the majestic Redwoods of northern California; trees that give quite a different (and far more profound) meaning to the words “majestic” and “patience” and “punctual” and “old.” Just as lovely, of course, was hanging out with Duncan at the coastal home the family had rented – a stay that allowed us to throw Frisbee for hours together, directly overlooking that coast’s famed “Arch Rock” …
