2009 … Burning UP the bad; soaking IN the Good

This are actual images from the “Park City cleansing” I engaged before leaving that town in the spring of that year. I like to burn things when I end one particular life-phase and commence another, and often accompany this detachment-ritual by shaving my head as well. It simply feels “clean” and “right” to do so; to let go fully (and gratefully) from what was in order to immerse myself fully (and humbly) in what is on its way. And that is precisely the way I felt on this particular morning as well …

“True Love doesn’t have a happy ending, because true Love never ends. Letting Go of a beloved is indeed a very powerful way of saying I Love You.” ~ unknown

“Love taught me to die with dignity that I might come forth anew in splendor. Born once of flesh, then again of fire, I was reborn a third time to the sound of my name humming haikus in heaven’s mouth.” ~ Aberjhani
