Day 138j: Ever onward into the Great Forever … (September 14, 2019)

Our doubts are the vilest traitors, continually striving to make us lose the good we oft might win, merely by fearing the attempt … Courage is, of course, the opposite. Courage is doing something daring, no matter how afraid or insecure or intimidated you are, no matter how alone or unworthy or incapable you might feel. Courage is taking action for a cause greater than yourself – and doing so no matter what. So you’re afraid? Be afraid then. Heck, be scared silly – be scared to the point you’re trembling and nauseous for all I care. Be that scared, even – and then get up and do it anyway! … You have a great and special Calling, and without doubt it is in some way a Calling that requires you to face enormous moments of fear. – fear that will seem overwhelming; fear that will keep coming at you in enormous waves. But don’t ever give up and don’t ever give in. Don’t ever stop trying, and don’t ever sell out. And if you do find yourself succumbing to one of the aforementioned temptations for even a brief moment, simply smile and pick yourself up, and brush yourself off, and announce a renewed resolve, and start back right where you left off. Do this as many times as you have to, but never, ever, ever, ever, ever give up.” ~ inspired by William Shakespeare & Richelle Goodrich
