Day 074h: Our two greater Missions … (June 27, 2019)
Jean Marc had flowed on ahead of me while I got some fresh drinking water and rested a bit, and yet I hadn’t walked very far thereafter (I wasn’t even fully out of Sauvelade proper) when I saw him coming out of a local “hippy bar” on the side of the Way. He laughed when he saw me too, and then offered to pay for my lunch there before he once again walked onward … Interestingly enough, the owners of the establishment happened to be Lili & Jeff, the same Lili & Jeff I had heard about from other pilgrims several days prior, the same Lili & Jeff I had been looking for ever since, and the same Lili & Jeff I had just a few moments previously given up hope of finding (!!!) … Their kind demeanor and effusive praise of my Walk matched the generous reputation that had preceded them, and I sat in the shade there awhile and made them their own Peace Stone before flowing back out onto The Way – warmed once again by the rays of the beaming Sun, and uplifted once more by feelings of faithful Love for Humanity.

“There are two missions we are blessed to carry out during our life journey. The first is to seek Truth humbly & resolutely. The second is simply to Be Good to others – all others. Indeed, you would do well to engrave it in your mind that life is just one big board game where you have to make it from start to finish by Being Good. That is all you have to do. The hardest part, is dealing with all the obstacles that prevent smooth sailing. The trick is, to always strive to be the right person in all situations – regardless of personal discomfort or cost to yourself.” ~ via Suzy Kassem
