Day 073y: How to cleanse one’s Clothes … (June 26, 2019)

There are two ways for pilgrims (and indeed non-pilgrims as well) to truly & deeply clean their clothes – one is wash them attentively (and preferably let them dry outside overlooking a lovely garden), and the other is to give them away lovingly* … πŸ™‚

β€œWe must Wake Up. If we are going to find our callings (and thereby live meaningful lives), we must choose to live both intentionally and audaciously. Much more importantly, we must be blatantly generous while we do so. And this choice is not an easy one. It doesn’t come naturally, and yet it’s how we were meant to live. Indeed it’s the only way that we can find the deeper contentment for which we all search and indeed foe which we all pine. And even though it is true that there are legitimate health, economic, and psychological benefits to generous living, the most important benefit is this one: generosity – truly selfless generosity that doesn’t care one whit or whim for personal pleasure or profit – is the only thing that can hope to give your life any real Peace & Meaning.” ~ inspired by Jeff Goins
