Day 066m: Several most magical Meetings … (06/19/2019)

Not only were Frederic & Muriel truly angelic hosts (with everything I saw them do – and I mean literally every single act; from the first moment of my arrival to my final wave farewell – was overtly done to bring another person(s) either more joy or more peace), but the other pilgrims who joined us that night* brought a uniquely profound sacredness with them as well – so much so that the after-dinner apertif table (set up by our lovely hosts in one of the grass “verandas” of their lovely garden) became a place of heartfelt bonding; with each & every of us opening up one by one to share the reasons – the real reasons, mind you – for walking our pilgrimages &/or living our lives. Crshing heartaches, divine hopes, and grand visions – all was courageously shared, and all was devoutly honored … 🙂

“Family is family, and it is in no way determined by anything as hollowly limiting as bloodlines, birth certificates, marriage papers, or adoption documents. A family is given to us all at birth, yes, and yet that Family is exponentially greater than the man-defined and society-proscribed ‘family’ into which we think we have entered. No, my friends, our Family is cosmically enormous, for it includes every single sentient being in the Universe – more readily every single sentient being on Earth. That grand Family might become more real to us in those moments we choose to more courageously embrace the same – those moments when we choose to be kind to strangers, those moments when we choose to openly forgive our enemies, those moments when we choose to reach out to someone from another culture, or those moments when we choose to cease enslaving &/or in any way commodifying other species. And yet whether or not we choose to admit and then embrace that one true Family – our one true Family it ever remains.” ~ inspired by C. JoyBell C.
