Day 066l: An ode to my Adidas … (06/19/2019)
After I was done taping UP the soles of my shoes – not only to repair, but also to bolster – Frederic cut some jasmine from the veranda’s over-arching trellis and made a shrine to my footwear; shoes that had already made it so far, yes, but also – unbeknownst to me at the time – shoes that would indeed make it all the way to Chattanooga, Tennessee! … :O

P.S. In case any of you are wondering, a combination of excellent construction and regular applications of duct tape kept my shoes going all the way to Chattanooga, Tennessee :O … Here is what they looked like when I finished The Walk:
