Day 065s: Good News from a new Friend … (06/18/2019)

As I left the little chapel and started to head back out onto the road, when I saw the serene vision of another pilgrim sitting peacefully in a field of grass next to quite the majestic tree. And this rendezvous with Nathalie turned out to be one of the more significant meetings of my entire Walk*, for she not only listened with heartfelt sincerity to the abbreviated tale of my Walk, but she also told me of a supposedly incredible, somewhat-under-the-radar donativo hostel some 20 miles up the road – a hostel that turned out to be far & away my favorite stopover of the entire adventure (as you will see in a few days’ time) … :O

and my politics is friendship.”

*All the people I met during The Walk were equally beautiful in my eyes – and every single one of those encounters were equally Meaning-full as well, of course, and yet it almost goes without saying that we all “jive” with some people more than others, and that the information given to us by some folks often proves to be more important than the statements, facts, or comments offered by others … 😉
