Day 58j: Soaking UP the Solitude … (06/11/2019)

“Ultimately, we are all alone on our journey. We might be surrounded by fellow travelers, yes, and we might regularly be accompanied by others alongside, and yet we will begin and we will fulfill and we will end our lives in total solitude. And that is the key word — Solitude. For if you choose to really sit with your loneliness whenever it arrives (and rest assured that arrive it will) — and I mean really sit with it: acknowledging it, and then accepting it, and then embracing it, then in that moment the melancholic burden that is loneliness will be fully transformed into the joyful peace-bringer that is solitude. Your aloneness becomes a Oneness — your individuality becomes a Solidarity — your poverties becomes a Purpose. And if you choose to cherish those moments deeply — not as mere chances to “know yourself” or “become at peace within”, but rather as inspirational reawakenings of your True Self, then you will begin to act accordingly — and you will finally know what it means to Live.” ~ inspired by Mandy Hale
