Day 52h: Putting the Soul on Top … (06/05/2019)

This pathside shrine was quite remarkable for two reasons — one of them quite obvious (i.e. being adorned by the unusually beautiful small iron sculpture pictured below), and the other quite subtle (i.e. a tiny white marble that had been left there by a previous pilgrim; a white marble that allowed me to pay a towered tribute to the conscient Soul within us all — the Soul that leads all those who place it at the pinnacle of their thoughts & deeds unwaveringly to Peace & Bliss) … 🙂

“True peace can only come from a life of true morality. And true morality only consists not in blindly adhering to the well-beaten tracks of dogma and normalcy, but rather is known only in seeking — and then in finding; and then in boldly following — the true path of the Soul; a path that seeks to give instead of receive, to defend instead of persecute, and to love instead of be loved.” ~ inspired by Mahatma Gandhi & St. Francis of Assisi
