Day 50b: Once more into the Breach … (06/03/2019)

It wasn’t often that I chose to walk in the dark during this pilgrimage — not only because I carried neither flashlight nor headlamp, but also because of the very real possibility of missing a waymarker in the shadows and thereby losing my way — and yet I did so on this early morning; setting out in the pitch black of 5am, solely because I wanted to attend that morning’s 7am Pilgrims Mass in the Le Puy Cathedral and still had 10km to walk to get there on time … 🙂
