Day 44a: UP and IN ’em … (05/28/2019)
I woke up this morning after a great night’s sleep, enjoyed a fine breakfast with Marie Claude & George (the latter of whom finally — even after all of my detailed story-telling about the radically austere nature of The Walk shared the night before — and quite suddenly comprehended with mouth fully agape that I truly was walking the entire way without money), gave them the “Peace Stone” I had made for them immediately after waking that same morning, and then set joyfully back out upon The Way — pausing briefly to earnestly offer a silent profession of heartfelt gratitude at the edge of town in front of the home where I had met Dominique the day before … 😀
