Day 40h: Answering the 2nd Question … (05/24/2019)
“I don’t know who I am, and I don’t think other people will ever truly know who they are either. That is why we have to be humble enough to learn to live with this mysterious question — Who am I? Far more importantly, of course – precisely because we will all remain mysteries to ourselves, is the answer to the other Great Query – What am I to do? We are all beings who are in a lifelong pilgrimage, one that endures from the moment of our births to the moments we will certainly pass on. And indeed the latter inevitability cannot be at all avoided. So all that remains is for us to fully honor the pilgrimages we each have been given. And this honoring can only take proper place when we engage and uncover the answer to the latter question aforementioned. And so it is that I am, on the one hand, a pilgrim who is constantly amazed by his journey and ever seeking explanations for the same. And on the other hand I am a traveler seeking every single day to walk the most powerful way possible – not by accumulating wealth or influence or knowledge, but rather by giving forth kindness and forgiveness and love.” ~ inspired by Paulo Coehlo
