Day 40g: Innovations a-Bounding … (05/24/2019)

Due to the escalating heat, today was the first day I turned my one pair of long pants into makeshift shorts, marking the brief transition phase between the Walk’s colder days (when long pants where worn while walking and shorter pants, if at all, were worn at night) and its later, far warmer ones (when my shorts became the covering of choice during the oft-blazing days, and these same longer pants turned themselves unwittingly into my nighttime pajama bottoms) … 😉

“We are all equally beautiful instruments of God. Indeed, the Divine created an infinite variety of notes so that none of us would ever be stuck playing the same song. As such, to honor God we must remember to make our days uniquely musical. We must keep fluidly altering & adjusting the keys, tones, pitch, and volume of each & every deed we play alongside each & every circumstance. None of us will ever attain a lasting perfection in this lifetime, and yet it is both our honor and our privilege to ever strive for the same. So start now and refuse to ever stop. Make your book of life a musical as scintillating as it is glorious. Joyfully serve all those in need nearby, generously give to all those less fortunate, and revel with complete abandon in the beauties shining all around you. Despite what preachers & politicians might broadcast, and despite what naysayers and ninnies might discourage, refuse to allow anybody to become the composer of your Destiny. Take the reins of your life and ever be the one choosing your path. Decide yourself how your music is to sound, and then play the same as loudly and as boldly as possible.” ~ inspired by Suzy Kassem
