Day 34d: Dealing on Diplomacy … (05/18/2019)

How fitting it was to come across the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations on the very outskirts of the city; considering how inevitably ineffective “diplomacy” is in resolving disputes of any nature, and how fitting it was that many of the buildings on said school grounds were abandoned, empty, and utterly decrepit (Seeing as how Loving Kindness is and always will be the only true answer to conflict, and seeing as how the compromise-based alternative thereto has been for centuries found to be fully lacking) … And finally, how fitting it was indeed that the staff on hand when I finally entered the school’s administrative offices were openly disinterested in my Walk’s primary Purpose of Peace and even blandly dismissive of my humble request for a drink of cool water; preferring instead to get rid of me as quickly as possible in favor of returning to spreading their well-known and failure-prone ways of conflict resolution … 😉
