Day 31b: A wondrously wooded Way … (05/15/2019)
This morning was one where I flowed along The Camino’s ever-changing yet always Beauty-full path. Admittedly still more than a bit limpy (and thus still more than bit wobbly), I did so smoothly nonetheless; with a smile on my face that was almost as large & serene as the one glowing forth from my Heart … 🙂
“Go outside, my Friends, and don’t tell anyone and don’t bring your phone when you do. Just start walking and just keep walking until you no longer know the road that lies before you. You see, we all tend to walk the same paths day in and day out — to work and back home and to the store and back home and to the sofa and back to bed — and we cease to truly See while doing so. We sleep while we walk and teach our muscles to work and move without thinking. So I dare you to walk where you have not yet walked and I dare you to notice life all around you while you go. Don’t try to get anywhere and don’t even try to get anything out of it. Just walk and notice what’s nearby. Then sit down if you like and choose to See everything noticed as if you are seeing it for the first time. And then, by far most importantly of all, whenever you choose to walk onwards, go in the direction of another being nearby. And do so with the intention of spending fiver minutes of your day making their day just a bit better and brighter. There’s a brilliantly beautiful world out there, my Friends, right outside your window and ever inside your reach. You’d be a fool not to notice it; and an even bigger fool not to do your part to make it a bit brighter today.” ~ inspired by Charlotte Eriksson
