Day 23e: Traveling the Road less-tread … (05/07/2019)
“Two roads diverged in the yellow-green wood,
And long I stood before them, sorry I could not travel both.
The first was less worn and indeed overgrown,
The second, smooth and grassy and wanting for wear.
Both that sunny morning lay equally open to me,
Both beckoned in tones of deeply earnest yearning;
the first of potent adventure and great achievement —
the second of swifter arrival and known success.
And there, perched at the precipice of no return,
I strode forth and made my choice.
I took the road less traveled by
And indeed that has all the difference made.”
~ inspired by Robert Frost
P.S. Here’s a bold idea — Let’s all go forth today and do our part to make The Road Less Traveled (i.e. caring for others more than ourselves; far more via our actions than our mere thoughts or words) far more tread … 😉
