Page 74 … the 2nd Coming
“Eventually evil so captivates and enslaves humanity that the climactic end time of history will arrive … [when] Christ returns to Earth as the victor and God’s Kingdom is established for all eternity.”
My dear Friend, making such a Rapture-affirming claim either evidences that your God is indeed a petty & capricious tyrant (and thus not the Father of Jesus Christ – see Matthew 5:44-48, Luke 6:36-37, Matthew 18:22, John 5:22 et al), or that such statements are nothing more than Revelation-based, evangelical, exclusivist hogwash … Indeed, not only is Revelation an anti-Christian document that actually contradicts The Way of Jesus Christ (as I conclusively show on pages 56-59 previously), but Revelation itself actually denounces any possibility of a current-age 2nd Coming; professing quite clearly as it does throughout its text that it was a contemporary document; meaning that it was describing an End-Times that was believed by its author to be extremely imminent – not thousands of years into our future (see Revelation 1:3b, Revelation 3:11, Revelation 10:7, Revelation 14:7, Revelation 22:7, Revelation 22:10-12, Revelation 22:20, as well as Revelation 1:1 & Revelation 22:6, where the Greek en tachos – translated in English Bibles as “soon” – actually means “after a very brief period of time” or “very shortly”).
(Revelation’s predictions did indeed come to pass –
with the first sack of Rome in 410 A.D., and then again
with the subsequent “fall” of Rome in 476 A.D.)
