Page 105 … repetitive repentance
“We continue to sin from time to time, and we have the Holy Spirit to convict us right away when we do so, and we repent for that sin as well.”
Hmmmm … Well, if this is indeed the case, then I must ask you why are you not repenting for the sins you are committing RIGHT NOW in this thread, my Friend?
*Why are you not repenting for the arrogance you are currently displaying – both in publicly (& in incorrectly) condemning homosexuals as “mortal sinners”, as well as in claiming that you & yours are somehow privy to the only acceptable way of interpreting the Scriptures?
“Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever becomes humble like this young child is the greatest in the Kingdom.” ~ Jesus Christ (Matthew 18:3-4)
*And why are you not repenting for the hypocrisy you are currently showing – in condemning the sins of homosexuals while you & yours are still admitted sinners as well?
“Do not judge, so that you may not be judged. For with the judgment you make you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. Why do you notice the speck in your neighbor’s eye, but do not notice the log in your own? … You hypocrite! First take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your neighbor’s … Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees; you hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup [of others], but inside are full of greed and self-indulgence. You blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of your own cup, so that the outside might also become truly clean.” ~ Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:1-5 + Matthew 23:25-26)
*And why are you not repenting for the bigotry you are currently spewing – in the way you are condemning homosexuals for merely being true to how God made them to be, as well as in the callousness with which you openly worship a version of God who, according to you, will ultimately sit back and do nothing while millions of innocent members of the LGBT community beg form mercy while they suffer in Hell for all eternity?
“Be perfect [in LOVE] therefore, just as [the LOVE] of your Father in Heaven is perfect … There is no fear in Love, but perfect Love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in Love … I now give you a new Commandment: that you Love one another. Just as I have Loved you, so you should also show one another Love. Indeed, by this everyone will know that you are my disciples: when you show Love for one another … So it is the will of your Father in Heaven tht not even one of these little ones should be lost.” ~ Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:48 + 1 John 4:18 + John 13:34-35 + Matthew 18:14)
