Page 125 … my Fourth Question

Scaughdt:   I am curious (I sincerely don’t know what you all believe about this one) – seeing as how roughly 60% of Christians now accept that homosexual love-making is not a sin, does that mean that these worshipers are blaspheming against the seemingly clear prohibitions against that act cited in Leviticus?  And how about heterosexual pastors who openly support and even facilitate homosexual marriages?  Are they committing the sin of blasphemy as well?

Question #04: Are Christians who preach an acceptance of homosexuality
or an acceptance of homosexual Love committing the sin of blasphemy?

Diana:    Look, people cannot make God into their own image by twisting the Bible around to fit their lifestyle.  Gays are wrong, and Hell-bound if they do not repent.  That is the bottom line … God is a loving God indeed, but He has rules for us that we are to live by and respect … We are to Love Him for what He has done for us … Praise God!

Scaughdt:    But Diana, the Bible itself actually refutes your claim! … I mean, you might be ultimately right, of course (none of us will know for sure until after our respective deaths), and yet the Bible never once says that you are.  Or can you give me a Scripture verse (even one would be enough) that actually affirms your judgment against homosexuals &/or homosexuality?

P.S. By the way, according to Jesus at least (whose opinion should be pretty important to you), God’s perfect LOVE (Matthew 5:48) has no limits (John 5:22 + Matthew 18:22).  It is completely unconditional, and as such has no punishment attached to it whatsoever (1 John 4:18) … To read the Bible differently is acceptable, of course, and that is the way the Pharisees read the Bible – not the way Jesus wanted us to read it! … And me understanding this Truth doesn’t mean that I am “making God in my image” – it simply means that I am accepting and following and revering the all-Loving & all-merciful Father of Jesus in the Bible; an all-forgiving and consistently gentle heavenly Father who can occasionally be found in the Old Testament as well!
