Page 147 … Judaism did not fail
“Judaism did not fail, because through the tribe of Judah a Savior from God was born.”
Well, yes – sort of … Jesus was indeed a Jew at his birth, and he was a Jew during his ministry, and he was a Jew at his crucifixion, and indeed, a Jew he remains to this very day (see Matthew 5:17-18) … Admittedly, he was an extremely liberal and overtly anti-Pharisee Jew – and an anti-Old Testament-damnation Jew as well, and yet he was a Jew nonetheless … Of course (and this is an extremely important point), Jesus was not a direct descendent of David by Biblical standards, as he was related to David only by adoption via Joseph, and possibly by blood via Mary – and this, at a time when descendency was decided by the blood ties of one’s father, not one’s mother … This fact seems to explain what Jesus meant when he openly rescinded his Davidian Messiahship in Mark 12:35-37, stating – “How can the scribes say the Messiah is the Son of David? For David himself, by the Holy Spirit, has declared, ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet.”’ If David himself calls him Lord, how can he be His son?”
Your analysis then reaches an apex of apostasy (at least as far as Jesus Christ is concerned) when you state that, “A large Christian denomination’s leadership has become infiltrated by the elite of Satan, and much of the institutional church has fallen away from the true faith and have followed doctrines of men instead.”
Hmmmmm … I wonder, my Friend – what do you mean by “the elite of Satan” here – and are you seriously implying that all Presbyterians are now agents thereof?!?! … Can you not see how patently anti-Christian this belief is? If Jesus truly was what he says he was – namely, a sound & true representative of a God of perfect, unconditional Love (see Matthew 5:48 + John 14:20 et al), then by the very nature of that Love he could not at all accept the divisive tone you are sharing here. Indeed, this quote sounds as though it could have come straight from the mouths of the very same judgmental Pharisees who Jesus literally gave his entire life to defeat! … No, my dear Friend. I’m afraid that I simply cannot allow you to so easily tarnish The Way of Jesus in this manner, much less the Love of his Father in Heaven – a Father who judges no one (see John 5:22) and forgives everyone (see Matthew 18:22 + Luke 6:36), and a Jesus who extended that same gentle Love to everyone he encountered as well – Jews & Gentiles & Romans; atheists & pagans & Hindus; gays & straights & eunuchs; prostitutes & tax collectors & lepers alike!
