You then state – “I caution you that Satan does mix truth with lies” … And to this I would simply say – Right back at ya’, Brother!   In truth, allow me to caution you to use the one fool-proof biblical bellwether for determining which teachings &/or which actions are in tune with the Way of Christ and which are in league with the designs of the “the devil”… And this bellwether – the “Fruit of the Tree” test – was given to us by Jesus Christ himself.

 

In essence, if a teaching or a belief or an action inspires others to feel in any way condemned, or sad, or aggressive, or angry, or anxious (all of which are manifestations of fear – the primary fuel of Satan’s Fire), then we can be certain that said belief &/or said deed is not in harmony with the Will of God.  On the other hand, if a teaching or a belief or an action encourages others to feel accepted – or encouraged – or peaceful – or joyful – or Loved, then we can know that it is in line with the Way of Christ!

 

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns, or figs from thistles? In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit … Thus, you will know them by their fruits.” ~ Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:15-20)
