You then go on to say that, “We are to be transformed into the image of Christ”, and to this I will simply offer a hearty & heartfelt – YES! … Of course, it might be important for you & yours to keep in mind that Jesus never once condemned anyone he encountered; that he ate with the greedy (Matthew 11:19), that he openly forgave prostitutes & adulterers (John 8:11), that he intimately cared for lepers (Matthew 8:2-3), and that he was openly Kind to homosexuals (Matthew 8:5-13) … And this is the “image of Christ” you & yours are supposed to be transforming yourselves into, my Friend!
