Page 222 … Judging the judgment

Diana:   You keep repeating that we are judging.  I don’t recall anyone being called out. You, Scaughdt, are actually the judge here.  You keep judging us.  We are just calling out the sins that the Bible clearly states will send you to Hell.   If you want to go there, then go; no one can seem to help you.  Clearly you do not want help … I personally am sick of reading your garbage.  Go to college … I’m a Jesus freak and proud of it! … You have a brain, so use it. Geeeez!

Vanessa:   Diana, there is judgment in this post of gay men; the second you see the post and then close your Heart and say that there is no way you would attend a gay pastor’s sermon – that decision is based on (and then becomes) a judgment!

Scaughdt:   Diana, my dear, “calling out the sin” is judging those deeds to be sinful!  How can you not see this?!?   And – at the very least – you & yours worshiping a God who judges certain behaviors to be “mortal sins” (e.g. Leviticus 18:22 & Leviticus 20:13) is actively supporting that judgment.  How can you not see this either?!? … Much more importantly, Jesus supported neither of these choices – neither such a judgment nor such a God … And most importantly of all, seeing as how there is clearly an equally valid way of reading the Bible (and of worshiping God, and of being a Christian), why are you choosing the way of judgment, condemnation and intolerance instead?  Why are you choosing to read the Bible as a book of ominous warning for most instead of as a tome of Salvation for all?   Why are you choosing to worship a tyrant God who judges and damns instead of the all-Loving & all-Forgiving Father of Jesus Christ?   Why are you choosing to be an arrogant, conservative, evangelical Christian instead of a humble, open-Hearted, progressive one?   Why, my dear Diana — Why???

P.S.   If you truly wish to become a sincere & devout “Jesus freak”, then you will one day have to actively & humbly & courageously walk his Way (not Paul’s erroneous beliefs about the same) … Peace to you, my dear Sister!
