Farewell Georgia! … (06/18/10)
This is not a “real” farewell to Georgia, as I intend to merely make two extended trips before returning, and yet those trips will cover a two month period, so some sort of farewell is in order.
The last six+ months have been another great blessing. Not only have I been able to tend the land at Alexzanna Farms and care for the animals here (two of my favorite services), I was also asked by a group of folks in Chattanooga to share the inaugural Avant Garde Bible Study — a 14-week intensive course that delved into many of the more uncommon Truths that can be found in Biblical scriptures. As a group, this class not only intellectually examined looked into these equally valid alternative interpretations, but many participants also chose to put those courageously loving principles to the test by applying them to their everyday lives (often with powerfully liberating results). Reading and practicing the often subtle, yet all-loving Truths in the Bible is one of my personal passions, and I felt truly blessed to finally have been asked to share these wonders with others. To access the information from the class (including over 100 hours of live & supplemental mp3 recordings, as well pdf’s of all class handouts), simply go to the “Avant Garde Bible Study” section of this blog.
