You next mention John 3:16, and yet you continue to forget that “belief” in this verse means the same for Jesus as it does in every other verse where he uses it – you forget that for Jesus “belief” wasn’t a mental thought or an internal feeling; that for Jesus “belief” was a VERB (see John 14:12) … In addition, you also seem to conveniently forget that – especially in relation to the question of who is going to be damned for eternity and who isn’t – John 3:16 is followed by John 3:17. Consider: “Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but rather that the world might be saved through* him.”
*And just as importantly, please remember that the Greek word commonly translated into English as “through” is dia (Strong’s #1223) – a word that meant not “by” or “by the power of”, but rather “on account of” or “by inspiration of” or “by emulation of”!
