“We all make mistakes, but we try to live a life that is pleasing to God, and I think He deserves our obedience.”

And thereby, my dear Lucy, you both expose & exemplify the passive-aggressive mentality that has allowed all of history’s most horrid despots and all its most cruel dictators to perpetrate the evils they have inflicted upon the innocent … Tyrants never merit our obedience, my Friend.  To the contrary, tyranny always calls for our bold & courageous opposition thereto … Indeed, to do anything less is to directly & immorally contribute to the evil those tyrants perpetrate.   This is true for men & women who abuse animals, this is true for men & women who abuse children, this is true for rulers male & female who abuse their citizens – and this is true for Gods who allow their children to burn forever in Hell for sins that simply cannot ever merit such a horribly harsh punishment.

And yet, how fortunate it is that the Bible encapsulates quite another God for Christians to worship instead – a God of limitless Compassion & never-ending Forgiveness; and a heavenly Father of awesome Grace & perfect LOVE —- namely, the Father of Jesus Christ!!!
