“Sadly, for the most part [this tactic] has worked, so most of our young people today have only heard messages like yours — full of lies and deceits.” … Ahhhh, if only that were indeed true, my Friend! If only it were indeed true that most of the world’s youth had indeed heard a message of unconditional Love & humble Aceptance, then Jesus himself would be up in Heaven shouting out a Universe-shaking “Hallelujah!” … For I am currently sharing exactly the Gospel that he wanted shared – not the one that Paul wanted heard, admittedly, but precisely the one that Jesus himself commanded his disciples to spread throughout the world! … As usual, for proof I offer the Word of God:
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit; teaching them to obey everything that I commanded you … If you truly Love me, keep my commandments … And this is my commandment: that you Love one another just as I have Loved you … You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is just like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang ALL the law and the prophets… My Father is glorified by this: that you bear much fruit and become my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my Love … By this everyone will know that you are my disciples: when you show Love for one another.” ~ Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19-20, John 14:15, John 15:12, Matthew 22.37-40, John 15:8-10)
Sadly, though, you are right about one thing – far too many young men & women have indeed been brainwashed into believing a false gospel; namely, the false gospel of Paul – a teaching that encourages the bigoted & unjust damnations that you & yours are spouting about homosexuals, and a teaching that propogates the pseudo-blasphemous falsehood (at least according to Jesus) that God’s “love” is dysfunctionally warped & conditionally neutered – that it is provided to the few, while denied to the many.
