Page 387 … standing firm with God

“I stand firm in the Word of God, and there is nothing you can say to change that.”

First of all, Lucy, it has never been (nor will it ever be) my intention to bring you anywhere other than closer to the Word of God … Secondly, the first half of your statement is actually not entirely true.   For you see, you only stand firm in portions of the Word of God; portions  that happen to support your unique personal belief that God is a God of limited Grace and cruel consequence … If you truly stood firm in the entire Word of God, then you would at the very least cease to ignore the thousands of verses of Scripture that I have provided you already in this thread; verses that repeatedly show how the all-Loving Father of Christ is an equally valid alternative for everyone – Christians and non-Christians alike.
“I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel … It will not be like the covenant that I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt … But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. No longer shall they teach one another, or say to each other, ‘Know the Lord’, for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest, says the Lord; for I will forgive their iniquity, and remember their sin no more” ~ Jeremiah 31:31-34

You then go on to say, “I have seen so many distortions from you and it is sad that people that don’t know the true Word Of God listen to you, a false teacher of Scripture, leading them down the wrong path.”

Well actually, my Friend, what is truly sad is that you & yours deny Jesus’ own bellwether for determining which one of us is acting as a “false prophet” and which one of us isn’t; for determining which interpretations of Scripture are “of man” and which are “of God” – namely, the Fruit of the Tree!   And if you would ever have the humility to open your eyes to See and open your ears to Hear, then maybe you could get up the courage to reach out with gentle Kindness to homosexuals – to tangibly & fully Love those “enemies” – to do so without judging them, or condemning their “lifestyle”, or shielding yourself from them in any way.  Then – and only then – would you ever be able to experience the true “Kingdom of Heaven” (see Luke 17:20-21); the immense Joy & perfect Peace that Jesus came to offer us all (see John 6:45, John 12.32 & John 15:11).
