Page 481 … not God’s fault
“We make our own decisions in our lives, and we all know right from wrong. It is not God’s fault we choose to break God’s Law.”
True enough, my Friend – it definitely is not God’s fault when we violate His laws, and yet it most certainly is God’s fault for making unjust laws in the first place – and it most certainly is God’s fault for demanding that we follow the same; even when doing so causes innocent beings to suffer greatly – and it most certainly is God’s fault for seeing that the vast majority of humanity has no equal access to those unjust laws – and it most certainly is God’s fault for seeing that the majority of those who do have access to them must either abandon their culture of birth &/or abandon their God-given ability to use reason & logic in order to obey them – and it most certainly is God’s fault for not changing those laws once it became clear that they are innately insidious, patently unfair, abjectly cruel & per se unjust (The Bible itself mandates that we reap only what we sow; not an eternity of additional torment thereafter!) – and it most certainly is God’s fault for sitting back and passively doing nothing while the vast majority of humans futilely strive to discover those laws &/or follow them – and it most certainly is God’s fault for then sitting back and doing nothing while those who have chosen incorrectly (mostly through no real fault of their own) writhe & burn in Hell; doing nothing at all while they loudly scream out in pain and beg Him for Mercy!
So my dear, assuming those things are true, then God most certainly is to blame – for all of them! Indeed, when we begin to earnestly examine the laws of the Old Testament, the question that comes to the fore is not how we can best obey them, but rather what kind of evil, unloving Father could ever demand such things of us in the first place?!?! … Indeed, if this truly is your God, Lucy, then He is a most foul & wicked God indeed – far worthier of being openly opposed than meekly worshiped!
As such, my dear Friend, seeing as how I believe that you too are an innately Good Person who understands the difference between Justice & injustice, between Good & evil, and between Right & wrong, why not upgrade to the Father of Jesus Christ?
“The days are surely coming, says the Lord, when I will establish a new covenant … not like the covenant that I made with their ancestors … This is the covenant that I will make: I will put my laws in their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall not teach one another or say to each other, “Know the Lord”, for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. For I will be merciful towards their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more.’” ~ Hebrews 8:8-12
“Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be children of your Father in Heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous … Be perfect [in Love], therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” ~ Jesus Christ (Matthew 5:44-48)
“I do not judge anyone who hears my words and does not keep them; for I came not to judge the world, but to offer it Salvation.” ~ Jesus Christ (John 12:47)
