Page 488 … Grace as a verb
“When salvation by grace alone — through faith alone in Christ alone — is denied, there is no salvation.”
Once again, my dear, even though Paul almost always agrees with this statement (see Galatians 5:6, where he admits – albeit unwittingly – that faith without acts of Love is nothing), you make a claim here that is actually in direct contradiction to The Way of Christ – a Way of Salvation that was & remains 100% action-based; a Way that relies solely on works of selfless LOVE; a Way that has nothing at all to do with mere mental belief or mere emotional “atonement” – much less the verbal worshiping of Jesus as though he were one & the same as God!
Please consider the Word of God:
“As the body apart from Spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead.” ~ James 2:26
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God has prepared beforehand – that we might walk in them.” ~ Ephesians 2:10
“Whomever says ‘I abide in him’ but does not also keep his commandments is a liar, and the Truth is not in [her].” ~ 1 John 2:4
“For I have set you an example, that you also should do for others exactly as I have done to you … If you understand these things, blessed are you while you DO them.” ~ Jesus Christ (John 13:15-17)
