Page 777 … the Strength we need

“God will give anyone the strength they need to overcome their homosexual desires, or anyone involved in sexual immorality.”

Lucy – again, I hate to break this to you (actually, I love breaking this to you), and let me make this Truth as clear as I can: HOMOSEXUALITYISNOTACHOICE!

Yes, I realize you wish it were a choice, because then you would find it easier to feel all high & mighty while you hypocritically condemn gays for their “voluntary lifestyle”, and yet all you are doing when you make such claims is publicly outing your ignorance; something it would be best to avoid doing any more.  And to think all these bigoted claims – claims that are not your innate knowledge of the all-Loving will of the Father, but are actually indoctrinations shoved into your head by the less than knowledgeable preachers of your youth – are not even backed by Scripture!   I mean, if you could give us even one verse that said that “homosexuality itself is an abomination” or that “homosexual unions are a disgrace to the Lord”, then this conversation would be quite different … And yet you won’t … And do you know why you won’t?  Because you can’t – and do you know why you can’t?  Because THERE AREN’T ANY!

Next you cite Hebrews 10:26-27, a passage which reads, “If we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and a fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.”

Once again, you out yourself here my dear Friend (pun intended  ), for as it turns out, it is you & yours who are doing the willful sinning here, not homosexuals (and certainly not Oliver Clyde Allen and his husband) … Again, please hear the Word of God from the mouth of your own Lord & Savior … Hear his words, and heed them well!

Do not judge others, so that you may not be judged … Why do you see the speck in your neighbor’s eye, but do not notice the log in your own? … You hypocrite! First take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly enough to remove the speck from your neighbor’s … You hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup [of others], but inside are full of greed and self-indulgence … First clean the inside of your own cup, so that the outside might also become truly clean … Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever becomes humble like this young child is the greatest in the Kingdom … Let [she] who is without sin cast the first stone.” ~ Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:1-2 + Matthew 23:25-26 + Matthew18:3-4 + John8:7)
