Hmmm … Do you really know how Jesus wants you to treat homosexuals, my Friend? Maybe so, of course, and yet you have to admit it sure doesn’t seem like it … Why don’t you review (again) what Jesus says he wants you to do regarding the supposed sins of gay people, and then maybe you will re-think whether or not you truly know what he commands of you and how he actually wants you to live in their regard … OK?
“If you truly Love me, you will keep my commandments.” ~ Jesus Christ (John14:15)
“Do not judge, so that you may not be judged … Why do you see the speck in your neighbor’s eye, but do not notice the log in your own? … You hypocrite! First take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly enough to remove the speck from your neighbor’s … You hypocrites! P.S. Please note as well that I am not judging YOU here, Lucy (as you most certainly are judging homosexuals) … I am merely identifying & illuminating the factual characteristics related to the content & the consequences of your bigoted, condemnatory beliefs about gays … Again, I am not calling you a bigot – I am pointing out that you are espousing bigoted beliefs. I am not calling you a hypocrite – I am merely pointing out that to attack the sins of homosexuals while sinning yourself is hypocritical. I am not accusing you of hating Jesus – I am merely pointing out that you are most certainly not acting like he commanded us all to act towards them.
Do you now see the difference?
