Page 845 … Free from sin

“The Bible is very clear on sin, and how we can be free from it.”

Well, actually, the Bible is indeed “clear” on sin – in a number of very different ways, and it is relatively clear on how to be free from sin in a number of very different ways as well.  Fortunately, Jesus was also extremely consistent throughout the Gospels on how we are supposed to behave towards our fellow humans (i.e. humbly & lovingly) – and thereby become free from sin in all those moments we choose to do so.

Again, please consider taking his words to Heart:

“Not everyone who says to me ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only the one who DOES the will of my Father in Heaven … It is not the will of your Father that any [of these little ones] should perish.” ~ Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:21-23 + Matthew 18:14 – see also 2 Peter 3:9)

“But only those who DO what is true come to the Light … Those who have done Good will rise to Live … I have set you an example, that you should DO for one an other just as I have done for you.” ~ Jesus Christ (John 3:21 + John 5:29 + John 13:15)

“A new commandment I give to you: that you Love one another. Just as I have Loved, so you also are to Love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples:  when you show Love towards one another.” ~ Jesus Christ (John 13:34-35)
