Page 917 … on Luke 11
“I have found Luke 11 to be very insightful … When you teach others things that go against his Father then you are subject to being doubly called ‘Sons of Hell’, and such people are twice as bad as the Pharisees ever were.”
Again, Dan – YES!!!!!!! Read Luke 11 again, my Friend – and keep looking into that mirror while you do so! … “Now he was casting out a demon that was mute; when the demon had gone out, the one who had been mute spoke, and the crowds were amazed. But some of them said, ‘He casts out demons by Beelzebul, the ruler of the demons.’ Others, to test him, kept demanding from him a sign from Heaven. But he knew what they were thinking and said to them, ‘Every kingdom divided against itself becomes a desert, and house falls on house. If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? … Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.” ~ Luke 11:14-18+23
And then, after you woken up to what Luke 11 truly means, maybe you can move on to a few other verses and enliven them as well – maybe even the following verses:
“Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven; give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back … You hypocrite, take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck of sawdust from your brother’s eye…. How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own?” ~ Jesus Christ (Luke 6:37-42)
“Now you Pharisees clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness. You fools! Did not the one who made the outside make the inside also?” ~ Jesus Christ (Luke 11:39-40)
“All who exalt themselves will be humbled, but all who humble themselves will be exalted” ~ Jesus Christ (Luke 18:14)
“If you truly Love me, you will keep my commandments … A new commandment I give to you: that you Love one another. Just as I have Loved, so you also are to Love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples: when you show Love for one another … Be perfect [in LOVE] therefore, just as [the LOVE] of your Father in Heaven is perfect … Show mercy to others, just as your heavenly Father shows them mercy.” ~ Jesus Christ (John 14:15 + John 13:34-35 + Matthew 5:48 + Luke 6.36)
