Page 937 … Jesus without sin

“Thank you Jesus, for being without sin and becoming sin so that we might become your righteousness.  Not one of us could ever do that on our own”
Dan, my dear Friend, at least according to Jesus himself – this is simply NOT SO!  Now I do realize and admit that this is indeed what Paul believed, and I also realize that it is indeed what Paul preached, and I even realize that it is indeed what the modern-day church teaches, and yet it most certainly is not what Jesus taught in the Gospels, my Friend!

*Jesus taught that we could all enliven his amazing deeds of Kindness & Love (see John 14:12, Matthew 5:39-42 & Matthew 10:41-42) …

*Jesus taught that we were all divine Children of God, and that we could all be re-Born as such whenever we wished (see John 1:12-13, John 14:20 & John 3:1-8) …

*Jesus taught that were not to wait on him to save us, but rather that we were all to attain entrance into his Kingdom by being a source of redemptive solace for those around us (see Luke 17:20-21, Matthew 10:7 & Matthew 24:12-14) …

*And Jesus taught us that none of these teachings can ever hope to be truly fulfilled until we first humble ourselves enough to stop condemning – and even to stop criticizing — the sins of others! (see Matthew 7:1-5, Matthew 23:12, Matthew 23:25-26, John 8:7 et al)

“Very truly, I tell you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do and, in fact, will do greater works than these … And on that day you will understand that I am in my Father, and that you are in me, and that I am in you.” ~ Jesus Christ (John 14:12 + John 14:20)
